A Celebration, 30 years in the making

This week, Mobility of Denver is celebrating the 30-year anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) with our Brand Ambassador Jennifer Keelan-Chaffins. We’re so proud of the work she has done and the recognition that this has brought to everyone. Jennifer and her fellow activist showed congress that day that a walk up the capitol steps was not simple for everyone. It was her struggle that symbolized the fight in a tangible display to many who were unaware.

Jennifer is the dual Brand Ambassador for Mobility of Denver and Vantage Mobility International (VMI) who provide wheelchair accessible vehicles to the Denver metro and wider Colorado area. In the words of Charlie Treadwell, VMI’s Chief Marketing Officer: “…[The Capitol Crawl] is the true story of a little girl who just wanted to GO, even when others tried to STOP her.”

Jennifer has been the Brand Ambassador of both companies for a little over a year now and has continued to bring awareness and hope to those with mobility issues.

“We are excited to have been the catalyst for Jennifer to continue her work in Denver and across the USA by providing a Mobility Equipped van for her to get around in. Her story is one that everyone should know and we are here to help anyone in a similar need.” – Justin McMinn, General Manager of Mobility of Denver had to say.
